What is the process to file a claim with the Discount Healthcare Plan?
Members can find a list of participating providers online through the AmeriPlan website. The provider search tool allows users to search by location and specialty.
After selecting a provider, the member makes an appointment and then uses their membership card to identify themselves at the time of service.
If the provider also accepts the member's traditional insurance, the difference between what that insurer will pay and the balance will be discounted. If a balance is due after the insurance and discounts are applied. It is the responsibility of the member to pay it.
